Local Clubs
Affiliated with the Bay State African Violet Society are our local AV clubs. Meetings are held monthly in a central location, often members’ homes. Programs include techniques for growing and grooming, lighting, watering, pest control, and more. Members trade plants and leaves, so getting together is fun a well as informative. Of course, there’s usually some good food and lots of good conversation. Everyone is welcome – all you need is to love violets!

All Seasons AVC serves the greater Metrowest area.
Meeting Times: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM

Emerald Necklace AVC serves members in the Greater Boston area.
Meeting Times: 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM
Location: Members’ homes
Gateway African Violet Club serves central MA
Meeting Times: 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM, program at 6:30 PM
Location: Mt. Olivet Church, Shrewsbury MA
Patriots AVC serves the areas surrounding Bedford, Concord, Lexington.
Meeting Times: 1st Monday of the month at 1:00 PM

Quannapowitt AVC serves the North Shore.
Meeting Times: This group is undergoing re-organization.
